A World Cup app built for sharing, not signing up

With the 2026 World Cup being played across North America, we wanted to build something fun that millions of casual fans could actually use. Most fans don't have a team. Their country didn't qualify, or they just enjoy the tournament. MyFanCard gives them one. Answer ten quick questions about your football personality and the app matches you to one of the 48 qualified nations, then generates a fan card you can download and share. There is no signup, no email, and no app store download. Tap a link, play, share. The app also carries the full 104 match schedule, watch party listings, and a paid listings side for bars and venues hosting screenings.

What made it interesting to build

• Casual fans have no team and no reason to install yet another app
• Anything with a signup wall kills sharing between friends
• A tournament app lives or dies on match-day traffic spikes
• The fun has to translate across languages and 48 fan cultures

What we built

• A 10 question quiz that matches you to one of 48 nations in 2 minutes
• Auto-generated fan cards designed to be downloaded and shared
• Full 2026 schedule: 48 nations, 104 matches, 16 venues
• Watch party listings, plus paid venue listings for bars and restaurants
• Runs entirely in the browser, installable on a phone home screen

Live for the tournament

MyFanCard is live at myfancard.app and running through the 2026 World Cup. It is free for fans, with venue listings as the business side.

For us it is also a demonstration of range. The same shop that builds warranty software for contractors can ship a consumer product built around speed and shareability. Different audience, different constraints, same team.
