How we work

We measure before we change anything. A slow system usually has two or three queries responsible for most of the pain, and finding them is cheaper than a redesign. When a migration is genuinely needed we plan it in stages with a rollback at every step, because a data migration that cannot be reversed is a bet, not a plan.
