About the role
You would work on enterprise Java and Oracle systems: sustaining applications that are already in production, modernizing legacy components, resolving defects, and building new features. Much of this work supports government benefits and health IT systems on a team led by a prime contractor or an agency, so the standard for documentation and code review is higher than most commercial work.
What we look for
- Seven or more years building and maintaining Java applications
- Strong Oracle experience: PL/SQL, query tuning, and data modeling
- Experience with an enterprise application server and standard build tooling
- Comfort working in a regulated or government environment, or a clear willingness to learn one
- Clear written communication, since this work is documented and reviewed
- US citizenship for federal work, and willingness to complete a background investigation
Nice to have
- Section 508 or WCAG accessibility remediation experience
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Prior work on a federal or state government program
